This is a quiet, spacious apartment 5 minutes on foot from the beach, on bus route to city.

Two furnished rooms are available temporarily (weeks - months), opening on to a balcony with a view towards Rangitoto. (Negotiable for smaller room to be longer term if the fit is right). Bathroom is shared with female occupant. No meals provided, but free use of kitchen (and potential to share meals from time to time if desired). Power/internet included. 

I work full-time as a teacher. My lovely mother (aged 88) also comes to stay sometimes.

$350 for larger room, $300 for smaller room. Both beds are king-single.
